On 9 February 2021 at 12:30 CET, Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC) is holding a Webinar - "You better watch out: learning how to prevent, tame and mitigate a pandemic (COVID-19)".

This webinar presents a new framework that allows to effectively model the increase in the number of infected cases in various regions of the world. 

This webinar intends to shed new lights on the wave pattern observed in COVID-19, and on the role played by human mobility. As a case study, this webinar will present some new results on the impact of maritime passenger transport for the emergence of a second wave in Croatia. The role of vaccinations, which are currently being administered, will also be briefly discussed.
