In its first quarterly adversarial threat report, Meta – Facebook’s parent company – found and dismantled Facebooks accounts posing as fake nonprofits to downplay the dangers of deforestation.

‘The Brazilian network is the first operation we’ve disrupted that primarily focused on environmental issues,’ said the report.
