CDP is seeking a highly motivated individual to join CDP’s Climate Change team as a Cities Manager, Science-Based Targets, to support CDP’s ambitious aim of driving the uptake of science-based climate targets by hundreds of cities worldwide. Cities setting and acting on science-based climate targets is crucial to meeting the challenge of reducing global emissions by half by 2030 and to net-zero by 2050. The Cities Manger, Science-Based Targets will directly support cities in setting, checking and validating their targets, acting as the first point of contact for cities and CDP colleagues on all areas of science-based climate targets. The Cities Manager, Science-Based Targets will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of emerging areas of science-based targets, across freshwater, lands, oceans and biodiversity, through CDP’s partnership in the Science Based Targets Network.

This is a full-time role based at CDP’s London, UK office reporting into the Climate team and matrix managed by Associate Director Operations, Cities, States and Regions.
