Value-Chain consultations on innovative business and policy solutions in the food sector
Building on the work undertaken by the joint task group of the International Resource Panel and the One Planet network, and the findings of their recently launched report “Catalysing science-based policy action on Sustainable Consumption and Production: The value-chain approach & its application to food, construction and textiles”, a first set of consultations will identify innovative business and policy solutions in the Food sector. These will be undertaken in April 2021, through five expert workshops each focusing on a prioritised stage of the food value chain.
There are several ways to get involved, such as nominating an expert to take part in the consultations, or by sharing existing initiatives/solutions along the food value chain that aim to reduce natural resource use and decrease environmental impacts.
