The Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment are seeking to appoint two Lecturers, starting in the 2021/22 academic year.
The positions are open to those working at key disciplinary interfaces relating to the understanding of, and responses to, climate and environmental change. They welcome applications from those with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Climate Physics, Data Science in Climate Energy, Low-Carbon Technologies, Climate Finance, or Economics and Public Policy.
During the initial three-years, the lectureships will be based at the Grantham Institute before formally transferring to an appropriate academic Department at Imperial. They are looking for passionate individuals to join their dynamic research Institute dedicated to effective action on climate change and the environment, in collaboration with one or more of the following Imperial College Departments or Faculties:
Department of Physics – Faculty of Natural Sciences
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Faculty of Engineering
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering - Faculty of Engineering
Department of Finance - Imperial College Business School
Department of Economics and Public Policy - Imperial College Business School.
These lectureships represent a significant investment in climate change and environmental research, aligning with Imperial College’s four strategic themes in support of a Sustainable, Healthy, Smart, and Resilient society.
