Two surveys are being circulated prior to the roll-out of the Green Industry Platform’s Integrated Greening Operations (I-GO) solution in an effort to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) become more resource efficient and recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
The I-GO solution will help SMEs access resource efficiency guidance and support services, including training and financial incentives, which are most relevant to their business activity and location.
The first survey is aimed at organizations that work with and support SMEs, such as international organizations, government institutions, NGOs, research centres, think tanks, business associations and multinational companies.
To help make sure the I-GO solution is adapted to the specific needs of the SMEs your organization works with, please complete the short survey (average time to complete the survey is 7 minutes): SME Intermediary Resource Efficiency Survey.
The second survey is for SMEs themselves to gain insights on their challenges and needs in relation to resource efficiency. This short survey should only take 6 minutes to complete: SME Resource Efficiency Survey.
The Green Industry Platform is dedicated to helping SMEs become more resource efficient. The platform will pilot this year the innovative I-GO solution to help SMEs access tailored resource efficiency guidance and support services that are most relevant to their business activity and location through an easy-to-use SME self-assessment tool. It will be free of charge and aims to support SMEs recover from the impacts of COVID-19 by helping them improve their business operations through modern resource efficiency measures.
The I-GO solution will be piloted in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia regions through the GO4SDGs initiative. The results of the surveys will support the work of this pilot project phase.
