I work with NRG Consulting Group and we are helping Upstream hire a Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). The CSO needs to be someone that understands corporate sustainability offices, their personnel and the challenges they face, and that can build relationships and develop projects to scale results.

Upstream is a national non-profit that sparks innovative solutions to plastic pollution by helping people, businesses and communities shift from single-use to reuse.

The Chief Strategy Officer is a new C-suite position at Upstream. The CSO will build relationships with corporate sustainability offices and their personnel as well as convene diverse stakeholders. We are looking for a person to help Upstream clarify strategy for the team. The CSO will not only plan for tomorrow but will also focus on executing strategy today.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience leading strategic planning and processes as well as expertise in project management. This is a remote position with a salary of $120,000 - $140,000 + benefits.
